Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Solvi mobile application ("App") operated by Solvi ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Solvi, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Solvi. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental or legal guardian consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Description of Service

Solvi allows users to photograph homework or exam questions, which are then processed by artificial intelligence to generate animated, narrated step-by-step solutions. The App also provides an AI-powered follow-up chat feature for additional Solviication.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free and Premium Plans

Solvi offers a free tier with limited features and a premium subscription ("Solvi Pro") with expanded access.

5.2 Free Trial

We may offer a 7-day free trial for Solvi Pro. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.

5.3 Billing

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings.

5.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Upload content that is offensive, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the App.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access.
• Use the App to facilitate academic dishonesty in violation of your institution's policies.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, design, trademarks, and technology within the App are owned by Solvi or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. AI-generated solutions are provided for personal educational use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or sold.

8. User Content

By uploading photos or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, and analyze that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. You retain ownership of the original content you upload.

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Solutions and responses provided by Solvi are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended as educational aids only. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all solutions are correct or complete. Users should verify important answers independently and should not rely solely on Solvi for exam or graded submissions.

10. Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the App's profile settings.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solvi and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, academic outcomes, or service interruptions.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solvi, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
